I doubt anything he does would satisfy 99% of the posters on this forum..

We shall see. I hope he does a good job. I have never been a fan of one party having autonomy over each branch. The best is generally somewhere in the middle. Now were about to take that other hard hairpin in the S curve.

IMO it will take that to repair and undo all Bush has done. America as a whole seems to concur. It wasn't like Obama barely won, or that each party pretty much remained the same in congress...it was a landslide of epic proportions. Obama won a greater percentage of the vote than any Democrat in the last 40 years... America wants rid of the GOP.

It all goes in cycles because the American people can be fickle. Within 5-10 years it will probably be just the opposite again.

It's according to how the congress performs IMO...I though it was strange that neither McCain last night, or Bush and Rice today had anything bad at all to say about Obama and last night's results.

I couldn't agree more. If people think one man will solve all of our problems, we are in for a rude awakening.
Serious sport has nothing to do with fair play. It is bound up with hatred, jealousy, boastfulness, disregard of all rules and sadistic pleasure in witnessing violence. In other words, it is war minus the shooting.
